Marisa Mills
Group General Manager

Since 1922, when my grandfather started the first of our companies, our family has stood for honesty, integrity, trust, doing what's right, courtesy, and customer service, with mutual long-term relationships with both our customers and Team Members. These qualities have carried over from everything my grandfather has done, and into everything my father and I do with all of our businesses. We intend to continue all of our efforts and business endeavors, now and in the future, in this same manner to ensure that we have a thriving Team and are exceeding our guest's and customer's expectations!

It has been my dream ever since I was a little girl to work with my father on an everyday basis in a leadership role with all of our businesses. I have been actively working with our companies since I was 15 years old, although I was in 'training' with my Dad for many years prior to that, as I would go along with him on many of his Mills Fleet Farm store checks. I attended Hamline University from 1993-1995 and Northwood University from 1995-1997, upon which time I graduated Summa Cum Laude. After much commitment, energy, focus, and determination, on behalf of my amazing Team and myself, I am now proud to say, that I am the owner and President of our Mills Automotive Group, and am business partners with my Dad! Lifelong dreams do come true! And, there is no one better that I'd want to be business partners with or have learned all I have learned from, than my wonderful Dad!

Patrick Weideman
Director of Administration

Patrick started with the Mills Companies in 1983 as a computer programmer in the Mills Fleet Farm Distribution Center in Appleton, WI. He spent 12 years with the retail division and assisted with such projects as the implementation of an automated inventory and replenishment system and the acceptance of credit cards at the Fleet Farm stores. With the expansion of the Automotive Group in 1996, Patrick and his family moved to Brainerd to assist with the addition of Mills GM, Brainerd, Mills Ford Jeep of Willmar, and Mills Auto Center, Willmar. Patrick's role with the Automotive Group has grown to include both IT and Human Resources. He is very proud of his two grown sons, Chase and Mitchel. Patrick is an avid bicyclist and enjoys touring the Brainerd Lakes Area.

Sharon Thomas
Executive Assistant

Sharon moved to the beautiful Brainerd Lakes Area in 1987.  She joined the Mills Team in August 2008. Her career history and experience is in Human Resources and Administration. Sharon and her husband, Calvin, have two grown sons, who fill them with love and pride! Outside of loving her job and her amazing work family, Sharon enjoys her church family, friends, and bio-family including spending quality time at the cabin, on their Harley, fishing, four-wheeling, crafting, and of course participating in and starting shenanigans.

Brady Sladek
Dealerships Group General Manager

Brady joined the Mills Ford Sales team in September 2003. He was previously with the Mills GM Detail Department since September 1999. Brady grew up in the Brainerd Lakes Area, and he is a graduate of the College of St. Scholastica. When he's not working Brady enjoys biking and spending time with his friends.

Sean Vagts
Director of Used Vehicles

Previously a loan officer and personal banker for seven years at US Bank, Sean joined Mills in October 2014. He also worked 15 years in automotive sales and sales management, and served three years in the U.S. Army. Originally from Iowa, Sean and his wife, DeeDee, moved to Brainerd in 2000, and they have three children, Seth, Gavin and Avery. The family enjoys camping, fishing, snowmobiling, lake outings, baseball and soccer, with Sean also coaching youth hockey and baseball games.

Scott Hubert
Finance Director

Scott worked as an automotive Internet/Lease End Manager in the Twin Cities before joining Mills GM in 2015 as Business Manager. He was promoted to General Manager at Mills GM in 2016 before beginning his current position as Finance Director in 2017. Scott moved to the Brainerd Lakes Area in 2007 and worked for Bar Harbor in Lakeshore and was West Coast Territory Manager for Atomic Learning in Little Falls before joining Mills Automotive Group. He was born in Willmar and grew up in Chanhassen, graduating from Chaska High School in 1992 and earned a degree in Computer Network Administration from Central Lakes College in 2012. Scott currently lives in Brainerd with his fiancé, Veronica, and their two children, Ethan and Hailey. Outside of work, he plays basketball, guitar and piano. Scott also enjoys coaching youth basketball / baseball and loves volunteering in the community.

Bret Mattheisen
IT Manager

Bret joined Mills in 2011 after working 13 years as a systems engineer at Syvantis Technologies. He and his wife, Lacie, have three children. The family lives in Pillager, where Bret has been a member of Pillager Area Fire and Rescue since 2002, and a city council member since 2000. A graduate of Benson High School, Bret attended St. John's University, and graduated from St. Cloud Technical College with a degree in network administration. He enjoys hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and home remodeling.

Chad Karas
Facilities / Construction Manager

Chad joined Mills in 2014 after working as a senior project manager for Widseth Smith Nolting, Baxter, and for Northway Construction Services, Baxter. For Widseth, he managed projects for Mills Fleet Farm, Mills Indoor Shooting/Archery Range and the new Mills Auto Center dealership in Willmar. He is originally from Braham and a graduate of Westview High School, Braham. He has additional training/certification in erosion/stormwater site management and project supervision. Chad and his wife, Jennifer, have three children, and family lives in Brainerd. He enjoys camping, traveling and exploring.

Brian Smith
New Vehicle Sales Manager

Originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, Brian joined Mills in 2014. He previously worked in automotive sales and retail sportswear management. He is a graduate of Brainerd High School and attended Central Lakes College. Outside of work, Brian enjoys golf, fishing and time with family and friends.

Brett Becklin
Used Vehicle Sales Manager

Brett started with Mills in 2019, most recently working in Sales at a dealership in Rogers, MN.  With roughly seven years' experience in the automotive field prior to joining the Mills team, a deeper dive in his work history also includes some time spent in water treatment sales.   He grew up in Cambridge, (east of St. Cloud), attending and graduating from Cambridge - Isanti High School, before moving on to earn his AA degree in Business Management from Itasca Community College in Grand Rapids, MN.  He currently lives in Nisswa with his girlfriend and their dog, Remington, and when asked, he's "very excited to be part of the team at Mills Ford as well as to serve the Brainerd Lakes Area community".  A sports fan in general, when he's not working, Brett enjoys fishing, hunting, golf, baseball, basketball and football.

Chad Ohman
Finance Manager

Previously a sales manager for TradeHome working in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri and North Dakota, Chad joined Mills in 2015.  Chad is a graduate of Brainerd High School. He enjoys fishing, hunting, camping and travel.

Joshua Sand
Finance Manager

Joshua joined Mills in 2016. He is originally from Pine River, a graduate of Pine River-Backus High School, Central Lakes Collage, Brainerd, and the University of Phoenix with a degree in management. Joshua previously worked at Harrah's in South Lake Tahoe.  He and his wife, Briana, have a daughter, and the family lives in Brainerd.  Joshua enjoys hunting, fishing and family time.

Adam Berman
Sales Desking Manager

Adam joined the Mills Automotive team in 2020, continuing to build upon his 20+ year career in the automotive field up to that point.  Originally from Honokaa, Hawaii, Adam went on to study at Aims Community College in Greeley, Colorado. Adam was with AutoNation for over 13 years, lastly as their Internet Director for a five-state territory, before moving back to Hawaii to pursue one of his passions of being a Master Scuba Diving Trainer.  He also worked for some time as an underwater videographer.  While in Hawaii Adam began working for AT&T as a Senior Sales and Marketing Associate, before returning to the mainland and moving to MN.  Currently living in Brainerd, when he's not working Adam enjoys volunteering for the St. Joseph "Focus" program, (an adult mentoring program), playing pickle ball, biking and snowmobiling.

Parts Manager

A long-time Brainerd resident and graduate of Brainerd High School, Marvin joined Mills in 1984. He and his wife, Sherry, have two children. Marvin enjoys all outdoor activities and vacationing with his family.

Sid Osterman
Service Manager

Sid painted his first car, a 1963 Impala he called "The Streak", in his dad's dirt floor shop near Frazee.  He was born and raised on the family's dairy farm. Sid is a graduate of Perham High School. He joined Mills in February of 1998. A resident of Pequot Lakes, Sid enjoys summer drag racing, hunting and spearing. He has three children and enjoys time with his grandchildren.

Dawn Rasmussen
General Manager

Dawn has worked in automotive since 2005, and has more than 16 years in customer service. Before joining Mills she was in customer service/insurance, handling credit cards, policies, retention and sales. Dawn is originally from Virginia Beach, VA. She and husband, Ed, live in Brainerd with their sons, Aubrey and Shannon.

Ben Olson
Business Manager

Ben grew up around car dealerships as his dad and his dad's friends worked at dealerships, but accepting the position at Mills in 2019 was the official beginning of Ben's automotive career.  Most recently serving as the former Director of Operations at Wewinabi, Inc, Ben had been in hospitality and customer service for 18 years prior to joining the Mills team.  He grew up in Champlin, a suburb of Minneapolis, and earned his Bachelor's degree from St. Cloud State University in 2008 and his Masters from The College of St. Scholastica in 2010.  A member of Delta Sigma Pi (a business fraternity for men and women) Ben currently lives in Baxter with his wife Tami, 4 kids and a cat named Larry.  When he's not at work, Ben enjoys watching the Twins, Vikings and Timberwolves, playing sand volleyball, basketball, and camping.

Dane Milender
General Manager

Dane has worked in automotive since 2008. A native of Brainerd, Dane is a graduate of Brainerd High School, Central Lakes College, and St. Cloud State University with a degree in social work. He served from 1990 to 1996 in the U.S. Army Reserves as a heavy equipment operator and combat engineer. For 15 years, Dane was manager of Milender Residential Services, a foster care facility for developmentally disabled adults. He lives in Brainerd and enjoys fishing, hunting, exercise and anything to do with the outdoors.

JD Berns
New Vehicle Sales Manager

JD joined Mills in August 2014 after previously working in nursing administration and the education department at Essentia Health- St. Joseph's Medical Center. He was also assistant manager for five years at Foot Locker. With a passion for racing, JD has worked in nearly every department at Brainerd International Raceway since 2005, including safety, security, tech inspection and start line. He is a graduate of Brainerd High School and Central Lakes College with degrees in business management and hospitality. JD is an American Heart Association basic life support instructor, Brainerd Area Sertoma Club board member, is serving a term on the Brainerd Charter Commission, and a high school basketball referee with the Lakes Area Officials Assn. JD and his wife, Krystal, live in Brainerd. Besides races at local/area tracks, JD also enjoys golf, fishing, and attending concerts.

Scott Pikula
Used Vehicle Manager

A resident of East Gull Lake and Brainerd High School graduate, Scott has been with Honda since 2010. He worked 15 years for M.G. Carlson Construction, Baxter, as a project manager, estimator and supervisor. Scott is a graduate of the machine trades program at Central Lakes College, Staples, and has a degree in architecture technology from St. Cloud State University. He is also a state certified building inspector. After work, Scott enjoys riding his motorcycle, fishing and boating.

Amy Moyer
Finance Manager

Amy may be a fresh face to the automotive industry, but no stranger to providing excellent guest and customer experiences.  Prior to joining the Mills team in 2020, Amy worked in restaurants her whole life, beginning as a dishwasher at age 12 and working her way up to head chef, eventually owning her own restaurant "Eleanor Rigby's",  Most recently she served as General Manager at the Bar Harbor Supper Club.  She grew up in Mason City, Iowa and after graduating from Mason City High went on to earn a degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality / Business Management from North Iowa Community College.  Now living just outside Pequot Lakes, Amy considers herself a single mom of "three beautiful, wonderful, hilarious, amazing children" - Makenna, Noah and Abigayle, two of whom have already shown interest in working in the automotive industry as well.  Amy also says she's blessed with "the best dog in the world"- a Great Dane named Gus.  When she's not working she loves to read (a huge Stephen King fan) and enjoys spending time with family, mountain biking and kayaking.  "The trails at Cuyuna are awesome and my favorite place to bike," she said, noting she also enjoys kayaking in the mine pits.

Brian Bakker
Used Vehicle Sales Manager

Brian started with the Mills team in 2020, having worked in auto sales for 36 years, most recently serving for 33 years as Sales Manager at a GM / Chrysler dealership in Montevideo, MN.  He grew up in Maynard, but he's lived in Montevideo for 30 years, currently serving on the leadership board of The Refuge Church in Montevideo. Brian and wife Brenda have 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren, and enjoy spending time with them whenever they can.  They also enjoy traveling, including touring the US and Canada on motorcycle and tropical beach vacations.  Brian brings his positive energy and experience with him every day and says "What I've enjoyed most in my automotive career is building lifelong relationships with customers and being their friend in the car business".

Dean Syvertson
Service Manager

Dean joined the Mills team in June 2019, prior to that he worked for Care Cab in several different roles.  He grew up in Hutchinson, Minnesota and went on to attend Minnesota Statue University- Mankato.  After racking up 30+ years in the industry at some level, "I have worked mostly in the automotive field" Dean said, noting he once owned a taxi company in St. Cloud for roughly 10 years.  Dean and his wife have been together over 30 years and now live in Sauk Rapids.  Together they raised four adult kids: Emily, Matthew, Tyler and Andrew.  When he's not working, Dean enjoys camping and being outdoors.


Mills Auto Center of Willmar

Steve Tuschen
General Manager

Steve joined the Mills team in 2019 bringing over 16 years of automotive experience, having most recently served as Fixed Operations Director for the Rydell Group in Mason City, Iowa.  Prior to that, Steve also worked with the Billion Auto Group.  He admits in all reality he's been working on or around vehicles "all my life", other than working for Citibank for 11 years.  Steve currently lives in Lakeville along with wife Kimm and their children Jack and Cora, though the family has been looking forward to moving to Willmar for some time now.  "My wife is from the area, so I have been in the Willmar area for the last 20 years visiting the different lakes and looking forward to being in the area full-time", he said.  Steve grew up in Salem, South Dakota, a small town outside of Sioux Falls, and went on to graduate from the University of South Dakota with a BS in Business Management.  He is active with the Knights of Columbus, and when not at work he enjoys travelling, riding motorcycle and being with his family.

Stefan Oehlberg
New Vehicle Sales Manager

Stefan joined the Mills team in 2020, bringing 6 years of prior automotive sales and management experience earned working in New York and Florida dealerships.  He grew up in Rockland County, New York and attended SUNY Rockland before taking a Sales Manager position at a dealership in Orangeburg, NY.  A move to Florida for 17 years led Stefan to working a slightly different vocation for a period of time, purchasing Structured Settlements and Annuities, before eventually coming back to work in the automotive field as a Brand Specialist for a dealership in Stuart, Florida.  Now living in Benson, Stefan continues to apply his skills and friendly personality assisting people with their automotive needs.  Stefan and wife Colleen have three children: Connor, Cole and Cora; 2 German Shepherds: Gunnar and Bella, a cat named Tiger and a boa constrictor named Fluffy.  When he's not working Stefan enjoys practicing Goju Ryu Karate, spending time with his family, and his family also enjoys volunteering at Feed My Hungry Children, a non-profit organization working toward a goal of ending childhood hunger worldwide.

Jordan Hagburg
Used Vehicle Sales Manager

A devoted family man who defines himself "a true automotive enthusiast down to the core", Jordan was the perfect fit to join the Mills team in 2020 with 10+ years of prior automotive experience gained working in areas from detail to sales and finance, indirect lending and dealership ownership.  Jordan grew up in the St. Cloud area, attending St. Cloud Tech High School with most of his post-high school study focused on Financial Planning, Sales, Member Experience, Human Resources and Leadership.  Currently living in Sartell with wife Lindsay, kids Gabrielle and Carter, and family pet Zoey, Jordan enjoys volunteering for Feed My Starving Children, a non-profit charity with a goal to end worldwide hunger for children.  He's also involved with the chamber, rotary, Sabre Gymnastics and Golf programs.  When he's not working, Jordan enjoys spending free time with the family, golfing, traveling and "anything automotive related- from just going to the carwash to car shows and races".

Heidi Thompson-Groves
Finance Manager

Heidi joined the Mills team in 2020, but draws from dealership experience that started for her in 1988, and most recently working at the Dave Syverson Auto Mall in Albert Lea.  "I love cars!  Cars, trucks, SUVs, all of them!  I love the way they look, sound, smell, perform!  I'm fascinated by the constant evolution of vehicles, in safety, performance, And I especially love helping people to get theirs," she said.  Originally growing up in Faribault, Minnesota, Heidi is an Army Veteran who has also has worked as a cook, armored truck driver / guard, mobile home broker, landscaper and bartender.  Married to Tim (General Manager of the other Willmar Mills dealership), their growing family includes 2 daughters: Amanda & Allison, grandson Evan and son-in-law Dan.  When she's not working Heidi enjoys "working in my yard, fishing with my husband every minute we have free, family, cuddling with our dog (Ranger), playing with our two cats (Zoey & Mogli), working on home improvement projects and cleaning my car".  Heidi's favorite causes include helping the local Animal Humane Society and lending her service toward Habitat for Humanity.

Dan Swart
Service Manager

Dan joined Mills Auto Center in October of 1988. Dan and his wife Linda have 4 children; Connor, Ava, Audrey and Charles. In his free time he enjoys golfing and spending time with his family and friends.


The BodyWorks

Sid Osterman
General Manager

Travis Hahn
Assistant Manager

After starting as an automotive adjuster for Progressive Insurance, Travis joined The BodyWorks in 2011. A native of Fargo, ND., Travis moved to the Brainerd area in 1990. He is a graduate of Brainerd High School and St. Cloud State University with a degree in communications studies. Travis and his wife, Amber, have two children, Harper and Hayley. The family lives in Baxter. Outside of work, Travis enjoys golf, softball and riding his fat tire bike year-round on the Cuyuna trails.

Barb Sorenson
Marine & Glass Repair

After working in sales and customer service at Herberger's, Barbara joined The BodyWorks in 1999. She is originally from Staples and a graduate of Staples-Motley High School. Barbara is also a graduate of Lowthian College, Minneapolis. She and her husband, John, have two sons, Hunter and Cody. The family lives in Pillager. Barbara loves to cook and quilt, wants to learn a new language, and enjoys time with her dogs, summer at the cabin and fishing on the pontoon.


Mills Parts Center

Susan Tagtow
General Manager

A long-time veteran of Mills Parts Center, Susan joined Mills in 1994 after previously working at JC Penney's and Manley Auto. She was also a supervisor at Caribou Coffee. "I love work and whatever I do, I do with passion from my heart and I have fun," Susan says. Originally from the Green Lake area near Spicer, Susan is a graduate of Atwater High School. She is busy in the lives of her two children and four grandchildren. Susan also loves dogs and antiques. 

Rob Baker
Wholesale Parts Director

Rob has been with Mills for 32 years. He is currently the acting Parts Director. He enjoys working one on one with our customers to establish strong working relationships. Service is always a priority with our Team! He and his wife, Janice, have a son, Jason and 2 grandsons, Chase and Kolby. Together they enjoy camping, snowmobiling, boating, restoring cars, and spending time together.

Kelly Peterson
Warehouse Manager

Kelly joined Mills in January 2006 as a part time receptionist/cashier at Mills Ford Chrysler in Willmar. About two years later she became an administrative assistant at Mills Parts Center. Kelly later became assistant warehouse manager at MPC, and then was promoted to her current position in July 2017. Kelly is originally from Springfield, a graduate of Springfield High School and has an accounting degree from Ridgewater Technical College. Her work career includes stops at FSMC in Lake Lillian, and American Welding in Willmar, where she met her husband, Steve. They have three children, Marcus, McKena and Marisa. The family lives near Blomkest. Kelly enjoys family time, four-wheeling and games.

Ken Lindberg
Inventory Manager

Ken observed his 25th anniversary with Mills Parts Center in 2018. He started his automotive career in 1978, and has held in a wide variety of positions getting parts to customers. He is originally from St. Peter, a graduate of Eden Valley Watkins High School, and completed the automotive parts merchandising program at Ridgewater College, Willmar. Ken and his wife live in Cold Spring. They have one daughter. He enjoys woodworking, hunting, fishing, golf and family time.

Robert Witzmann
E-Commerce Manager

Robert joined Mills in July 2018. He was previously operations manager at Automotive Parts Solutions (APS) in Rockville, and had been with them 19 years. Robert was also a counter sales representative at Carquest for four years, and an assistant restaurant manager for Pepsi Co. He is originally from Cold Spring, a graduate of Rocori High School, and attended DeVry University and St. Cloud State University. Robert and his wife, Lisa, live in Clear Lake. He has two stepsons and one grandson. Robert enjoys family time, his dogs, fishing, cars and pheasant hunting.

Jason Bruhn
Route Representative Manager

Jason, who has been with Mills since 2003, is our Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor. He enjoys working with our Customers and Team Members, ensuring their needs are met with excellence.  Jason and is wife, Beth, were married in 1998 and have 2 children, Ben and Allison. His hobbies include hunting, golfing, hockey, and stock car racing.

John Drexler
Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor

John grew up near Franklin, Minnesota attending Cedar Mountain High School and then Ridgewater College earning a degree in accounting before joining the Mills team in 1998.  During high school and college his work experience also included nursing home and farm work.  Currently residing in Atwater, John's hobbies outside of work include camping, hunting and fishing, in particular bass tournaments and other league activities as a member of the West Central Bassmasters fishing club.

David Bobzien
Assistant Warehouse Manager

David joined the Mills Parts Center team in 2019, brand new to the automotive field as his prior experience in contracts, procurement, inventory, distribution, logistics and capital assets mostly came via the healthcare industry, having served most recently at Carris Heath, Rice Memorial Hospital. Other past employers he's worked for include UPS, Albertsons Grocery Warehouse, Coca-Cola and EMS.  He grew up "all over", but most of his early years were spent in Gunnison, Colorado where he attended Western State University and earned his BA in 2000.  In 2002, he earned his Certified Materials Resource Professional (CMRP) honors. David now lives in Willmar with his wife Kristi, and three kids: Kellin, Macee and Gabriel.  As a Scoutmaster very active in scouting, when he's not working he enjoys camping, cooking, reading and family time.  David says he's "excited to be here assisting to make MPC the best it can be for each other AND our customers".

Rosadene Ferris
ASR Manager

Rosadene was very excited to join the Mills Parts Center team in 2020, the perfect fit for her extensive career in Customer Service and Technical Support roles and prior automotive experience.  "I have worked on my own vehicles from a young age. From a complete rewire of the wiring harness in my '74 Datsun Pickup to replacing the entire cooling system and Head in a '96 Ford Mustang," Rosadene said.  Prior to joining the Mills team, Rosadene also worked for Tesla assembling battery modules for the Model 3.  She grew up in Sacramento Valley, California and attended Technical Trades Institute earning an Associate's Degree of Occupational Studies, Majoring in Computer Technologies in 1997.  Now living in Maynard, Minnesota, when she's not working she enjoys camping, water sports and spending time with her family including wife Lori, son Zackary, three dogs, two cats and 4 chickens.

Marney Negen
Administrative Supervisor

Marney joined the administrative/support team at MPC in April 2015, and was promoted to her current position in October 2018. She previously worked at the Willmar Municipal Airport and at Culligan in Benson. Marney is originally from Canby, a graduate of Dawson Boyd High School and currently lives on a farm near New London. She enjoys reading, gardening and time with her son and daughter.

Brian has worked in automotive since about 1987 and joined The BodyWorks Super Collision Center in March 1997. He was an auto body technician there for 21 years, then promoted to his current position in October 2018. Brian was a painter at a bus manufacturer in Faribault and an auto body technician in Crosslake. Brian is a graduate of Rockford Senior High School, Rockford, Iowa, and Central Lakes College, Brainerd, with a degree in auto body technology. He and his wife, Alison, live in Pequot Lakes, and they have two adult children. Brian enjoys hunting, fishing, helping others with construction projects, attending games of his nieces and nephews and coaching youth baseball teams. He was a member of the Pequot Lakes Fire Dept. for 15 years.

Accessory Sales - MAX Manager

Dustin's automotive experience goes back more than 5 years prior to joining the Mills team in 2019.  Earlier in his career he's worked as a mechanic, in sales and marketing, and most recently served as general manager and sales for Nardini Fire Equipment.  Dustin grew up in St. James, Minnesota and attended St. James High School before moving to Brainerd in 1998 and attending Central Lakes College.  Along with his CPR and First Aid certifications earned in 2017, Dustin also has a USA Boxing Coaching license earned in 2017, and a USA BMX Coaching license earned the prior year.  He's also an active member of Lakes Area BMX and the National Wild Turkey Federation, both non-profit organizations.  "I enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, racing BMX with my kids and amateur boxing with my oldest son," Dustin says.  Dustin lives in Brainerd with his fiancé Stefani and his kids Justice, Devyn, Gavyn, Lukas, Jordyn and Jadyn.

Patrick Iten
Graphics Specialist

Patrick started with MAX in July of 2019, coming from his own freelance company for the past 10 years, prior to that working at a full-service advertising agency.  He's been working in and around all facets of design for business-to-business since the mid-80's, with some time also spent working sporting goods retail.  Patrick grew up in Browerville, a small dairy town in central Minnesota, only a block away from the Land O Lake milk plant.  After graduating from Browerville High School, he attended and graduated from Bemidji State University with a bachelor of science degree majoring in advertising, graphic design and technical illustration with an emphasis on graphics management and print production.  With varied talents and interests, Patrick keeps busy as a MN DNR certified firearms and advanced archery instructor, serves on the Industrial Technology and Advertising Design Board for Bemidji State University and the See Gull Estate property advisory board as president, and volunteers at the Brainerd Family YMCA and Lakes Area Habitat for Humanity.  Now a Brainerd area resident with his wife Julie and son Jacob, when he's not at work Patrick enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing and hunting.
