History

The Mills Companies began in 1922, when Stewart C. Mills, Sr. purchased the Lively Auto Company and began selling Chevrolets and Hupmobiles in Brainerd, MN.

The Mills Auto Group now has five automotive dealerships, 3 in Brainerd, and 2 in Willmar, MN, a state-of-the-art collision center / auto body shop in Brainerd, and a Wholesale Parts Supply business based in Willmar serving the state of Minnesota, areas of North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.  The dealership franchises include: Ford, Lincoln, GMC, Buick, Honda, Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Jeep, Nissan, Toyota and Scion.

The Mills Automotive Group is part of the Mills Family of Companies which includes the Mills Fleet Farm retail stores throughout the upper Midwest.
